The
Capital Conference Center, located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis,
provides much more than ample meeting space and excellent food and drink.
The distinctive, private atmosphere, along with spacious meeting rooms
will add an exceptional dimension to your event.
Our accommodating staff will provide you with the personal attention
your event deserves, assuring no details are overlooked. Our facility
was designed to be the perfect setting for small meetings so your function
will never be overwhelmed by some large, noisy event going on in the
next meeting room. All of our rooms are equipped with comfortable, eight-hour
seating and on-sight parking is available.
The
Capital Conference Center is located on the 2nd floor of the south tower
of the Capital Center Building. Capital Center is at 201 N. Illinois
St. on the corner of Ohio and Illinois Streets.
Parking
is available underneath the building with entrances to the garage located
on both Ohio and New York Streets. Parking is also available just north
of the Capital Center building in the Central Park Garage at 301 N.
Illinois. Full size vans or pickups must park in this garage.

General
Information
Meeting
room arrangements, menu selections and all other information pertinent
to the success of your function will be needed one week prior to your
event. Prices are subject to change without notice. Guaranteed prices
can be given no more than 60 days in advance of the function date.
In
order to maximize space, the Conference Center reserves the right to
alter your assigned room if necessary, especially if your attendance
increases or decreases. We will inform you of any changes as they are
made.
All
food and beverages must be purchased from our facility due to Health
Board regulations. Entree selection on banquet menus is generally limited
to one choice, unless special dietary restrictions or religious holidays
demand otherwise.
A
7% sales tax will be applied to all meeting room rental and miscellaneous
charges. A 9% tax and 20% service charge will be applied to all food
and beverage charges. A minimum service charge of $25.00 will be charged
for all meal functions.
The
Indiana Department of Revenue states that sales tax is applicable to
all services, meeting room charges and food or beverage charges for
any group unless resold at a higher price for fund raising purposes.
Please
notify the Conference Center within three business days of the exact
number of guests attending. We will consider this number to be a guarantee
for which you will be charged even if fewer guests actually attend the
event. If we do not receive your guarantee 72 hours in advance of your
event, we will consider the estimate listed on your event order as your
guarantee.
Several
of our meeting rooms are equipped with white marking boards and projection
screens. All other audio-visual equipment is provided by Markey’s
Audio-Visual. We will be happy to order equipment that you need and
charges will be discussed with you and added to your bill.
